    Far far away...

Sometimes I wonder how tough it'll be to earn a living far far away from your homeground. I have friends who's working in a foreign land and I've got friends who comes to Singapore to work. If I were to be given a choice to do such, where will I go?

I was browsing the WWW and found a site for London jobs and since my paper qualification's certified by Cambridge I thought I may have a shot. I'm not even sure if the Americans or the other European countried would recognise my certificates. Maybe life experiences might help?

I filtered all the jobs in London to see where I stand. To my delight, not 1 job advertised mentioned anything about paper qualification in their prerequisite! Its all about past experiences and good references.

Thinking back, why isn't Singapore employment nature is such? I've got a fresh grad holding a diploma sending out letters, packing goods and answering phonecalls. I'm not holding any diploma and I'm holding a much better position than her; my job is that of a degree holder. But one thing for sure, her diploma enables her to rack a higher salary. Technically its fair but at times, it pains me and I wished that we could swop roles.

Ah well... more updates about me in a bit!
