    Gender dilemma

    Scenario 1
I met a fellow blogger during the recent Blogathon event. I never really got to know the person and from the way the person blogs, the avatar, the web layout, I assumed it a 'she'. Days later I chatted with another fellow blogger and realise the 'she' is actually a 'he'! Ok, I thought my sense of gender online may not be so good.

    Scenario 2
A colleague of mine, named April, from the Philippines' office added me to her MSN but I didn't quite know why since I do not want to liase with so many parties and cause some kind of a confusion. I asked Paolo (the boss) who is she and what she does in the company and if she's the one I'm suppose to liase with in future. He was shocked and claimed that April is a HE!

Last night, after a very brief swimming session, Lianne and I took a stroll along Margaret Drive towards Farrer Road to dine in McDonalds. We started talking about homosexuality. Inborn or a choice?

Scientifically speaking, (more like Lianne speaking) some babies are born with the extra hormones of the opposite gender and they may be able to lead a life like someone of the gender but as they grow up, the hormones may take effect, full force, and that's where they 'come out'.

But then again there are people who...
    1. are attracted to the same gender
    2. think they should BE of the opposite gender, hence the gender operations

I myself wonder if its possible people become homosexual because of peer pressure. I'm talking about wannabes and posers. Do they develop the hormones in between or maybe they take something that helps them to develop those hormones? Or do they just pretend to be a homo just like the rest of their friends eventhough deep inside they're not? Is that by choice then?

If people can inject hormones into their body, is it reversible? Will it be able to help people who are born with it to lead a normal life again?

Hmmm... something to get you thinking a bit *hehehe*
