Our recruitment continues apace as we are still searching for volunteers the expertise areas listed below. If you are interested, please email us at info@thepixelproject.net and CC. regina@thepixelproject.net and kwarwick@ncadv.org.
1) Online archivist/researchers
Our website will be launched shortly and we require the following:
a) 1 person to continuously update our Resources page where we aim to provide links to various online resources for various types of Violence Against Women acts. You will be working with our Website designers as you will be feeding information to them on a regular basis.
This requires 1 to 2 hours per week depending on how fast you work.
b) 1 person to compile the latest VAW news for a weekly update "newsletter" post on our blog.
This requires 1 to 3 hours per week with the help of Google News Alerts.
2) Post-production SpecialistsIf you are a post-production specialist who is good at retouching, digital imaging etc and can donate 5 hours per week on average, we need you for our photography team.
3) Sponsorship SpecialistsIf you are a marketing/events professional with a knack for getting sponsorship deals nailed down, we need your help with guiding and leading the sponsorship team.
We'd require about 10 hours of your time per week and you should be excellent at phone pitches.
4) Photography AssistantsWe are looking for up-and-coming professional photographers in major cities around the world to be on standby to assist our principal photographer, Jillian Edelstein (
http://www.jillianedelstein.co.uk) should she need to conduct a photo shoot for this project in your city.

ParisNot only will you get to work with Jillian but if you do get to work with her on a shoot, the subject of the shoot would likely be either a Nobel Prize Winner, Grammy Award Winner, Oscar Winner, Hugo Award Winner... you get the idea!
If you are tapped, we will only need half a day or less of your time and also to borrow your lighting equipment for the shoot.
