Well hello there

I have no clue if anyone is still reading my blog and I bet the most popular reason for losing my readers is because of no or little updates from me. I apologize and I feel really bad to be paying money to have this website untouched *LOL*

I've been very very very busy at work. New environment, new workflow, new people and whatnots. Actually if you were to look at my Twitter bar on your left, I am VERY actively tweeting! My bad... I find tweeting much much more convenient at the moment. Most of the people I know, at work especially, are constantly updated with my daily ramblings. Maybe everyone should catch me on Twitter.

I just got my period today after 2 days of breastache (is there such a word?) and major craving for anything sweet. No sign of the dreaded cramps yet but still too soon to say. Ok... maybe this whole para is TMI but heck I feel like telling you anyways~

Just as I was typing this entry I got a call from a telemarketer offering me free 1 day service of selected spa treatment. I never heard of the spa before (not that I am well-versed in that area *shrugs*) and I also nicely told her to give my spot to other people who might be interested. I believe her last words were... ".. so you're not interested?". Again, I said yes politely and you won't believe what she did next. That bitch hung up on me without saying goodbye. I'm glad the conversation ended but the stoopid spa is not being well represented by rude bitches like that!

So... good news! Sims 3 finally coming soon on June 2nd. I took leave just to attend the launch! I should have taken the whole week off to play it!

Speaking of not-working, I still have like 7 days left to clear by end August. That's like in 2 months and I don't think I will be going for a vacation during that period. Maybe I should? Long weekend break in August? Hmmm... decisions, decisions...

Ok enuff words for this entry... I will update more cos' blogging my passion... I will keep telling myself that.

Wii Monsieur!

I am contemplating hard whether or not to be an avid supporter of Nintendo. Since I've already got me a DS Lite, why stop there? Why shouldn't I get a Nintendo Wii too?

Interesting trivia for you: Do you know that it's supposed to be called Revolution? Fans weren't too pleased with that; it's like naming your bulldog Pinky or Tutu! Haha... nevertheless with a lame name like that, it does catch on.

Anyway I guess I will be able to get the Wii at special rate cos' I know people who know people etc etc. But will it be odd to get it when I'm the only one that's gonna be playing it? I can't possibly be organising game nights for my friends to come over to whack my Wii, right?

I have tried the variety of Wii games before more than once. I simply adore Wii Tennis! But the most awesome at the moment have to be Wii Mario Kart! I'm addicted to it on my DS, throw in a Wii Wheel and I'm a pro-racer... LOL!

To Wii ... or not to Wii ... :-(

I need Freetime!

If you know me well enough, you should know I love to daydream. I can dream about anything and everything. Yup, I have fantasies too... Even one with the oddest men on earth! Haha... ok TMI! I was out for a bit today, window shopping, and 80% of the stores in Vivocity has 'SALE' plastered all over the front of the store. It's amazing how by looking at the second most evil four-letter word gives you the immense urge to buy something as if you've been wanting it forever.

Lianne, you may want to read on here...

I found this in my favourite IT store and it has a 'buy 2 get 1 free sticker' on it. Funny it only applies to Sims 2 products (the main game and the expansion packs). Unfortunately for me, I know need one... Freetime. I bloody have the rest of it already! Here I plea to anyone out there who would like to complete your EP collection to come forth and enjoy a member price of S$44 per EP but now with the offer it'll cost like *whip out calculator* S$30 tops. Anyone? Lianne? *wink*

Today's outting is VERY different than those I've had ever. I found myself in a kiddy pub, surrounded by geeky virgins (actually pretty hard to predict that one, kids nowadays) and towards the end, deafened by awful, awful 'music'. I'd say it's quite a priceless experience for once, I paid attention to gamers 'rawkin' on their consoles 'jammin' to Guitar Heroes II tunes like I would American Idol. Haha... pretty entertaining especially the end bit where a guy got his ass kicked by a female 'guitarist' doning a befitting Metallica t-shirt. Its her lucky charm maybe?

Second part of the show was a 'band competition' where their music is supposedly inspired by video games. Its pretty enlightening to listen to their perception of 'music'. Sounded very alien to my ears mostly when they kinda spelt out some kind of secret decodable messages that got the crowd cheering like they understood whatever... you know what I mean? No? Exactly!!

Don't get me wrong. I have nothing against geeks/gamers/whatnots. I belief I am one myself. But if it weren't for the familiar faces in the office I see there, I would feel goddamn out of place. Its like painting your wall brown and purple. Some may not see a problem with that but the artistic bit of your brain should be able to argue that color cordination can work in certain circumstances but the naked eye of a man might feel otherwise.

Party?

On Friday night, about 30% of my colleagues stayed back to throw a farewell party to 3 of my other colleagues who'll be leaving, Carebear, Charger and erm... a fruit. Haha... I use nicknames cos I felt like it. What? Other bloggers are doing it so why can't I! Anyway the party's B-O-R-I-N-G but at least I gotta play Nintendo Wii Tennis! Addictive like no words can describe. I don't suck... and I'm no expert but practise is the key word. That's the only bit of the part that I enjoyed the most. Oh ya... the pizzas... and my homemade cuppies! I didn't even bother to whip my digicam out!

I've always wondered how one can make money, legally of course and one sure way, if you've got the luck to boot, is to gamble. Casino is nothing foreign, we're opening one here in Singapore after many years of resorting to fleeing to one in other countries. Now here's another thought... why bother to gamble so far away from your bedroom when you can do it online?

One good website to try your luck to win some cash is with Mac Poker where they have the very oh-so-popular Poker of course. My phone has been very very quiet for the past year. Why? It didn't used to be like this. Is it something that I've done? Did I put so much attention on my love life and work that I forsaken everything else that matters? Yup, Sims 2 is my new best friend. It kept me company throught good and bad hours after hours!

I accidentally punched the wall on my way out of the ladies room. Now I can see my non-existence knuckle. Still sore... yeooucchh!

These are the rules: Each player of this game starts out by giving 6 weird things about themselves. People who get tagged need to write in a blog of their own 6 weird things as well as state the rules clearly. In the end, you need to choose 6 people to be tagged and list their names. After you do that, leave them each a comment letting them know you tagged them and to read your blog!

When I plugged my earphones in while walking, I must ensure I pace myself with the music otherwise my walk gets disoriented.
I'm a natural born leader; I like things organised my way or no way. Haha, many of my friends would have noticed but I meant well... honest!
I'm addicted to Cup Corn/Corn Cup (however you may call it) - I even made them myself at home. Actually I'm a corn fan since I was a tot.
Once there's something new to watch on TV, I am almost never patient enough to wait so I'll either youtube it or download it myself. I'll be done with the whole season before it's even shown on TV.
I hate text messaging. Those keypads are not made to fit my thumb so my message will usually be short, sweet and badly formed - cos' I can't be bothered like that. Next time just call me :)

I've never watched the show before but I heard many saying its a no brainer game with massive sponsors. Haha... how about trying out the game yourself online? Go over to Winzy's but its just for the fun of it, no prizes to be won unfortunately!

So you'll go through a short intro before you reach the main game page. Click on DEAL!

You'll be ask to pick a briefcase from the bunch displayed and in this case I picked 18.

You'll be asked to remove 6 briefcase away and as you do so, they will let you know how much the briefcase is worth. Here you can see, I just blew $100 grand!

After you're done removing the 6 briefcases, a virtual banker will contact you offering a price on the briefcase you had picked initially. Its up to you to make or refuse the deal.

So I virtually won $56 grand but they will also piss you off agian by showing the amount you're giving up.

See... that's why I only stick to the online version cos' if its the real thing, I would have smashed my head against something very sharp!
