    While I was busy playing...
    Sunday, March 11, 20078:17:00 PM 0 commento
... I stumbled upon something interesting. I've been messing around with Wikimapia for a while but never thought of exploring places I wish I could visit myself. On the map I found the Bermuda Triangle, the Ghost Ship and the best one of all, I found Neverland Ranch! While I'm at it, I found out where Michael Jackson lives. Haha, there's plenty of vandalism on that map and Mr. MJ had a fair share of vandalism as well. I was referring to his messed up surgeries.

Feelin' bored, I investigated further on this surgery and found a comprehensive website on Revision Rhinoplasty (which features pretty disturbing images by the way). So bad, I feel terrible for people who had went through with the surgery. This procedure is like an 'in case' surgery when things do go wrong after a nose surgery and no doubt this damage control procedure is required for at least 5-12% of patients who had went through the rhinoplasty.

This specialist from Los Angeles Revision Rhinoplasty in Beverly Hills, CA, talks about how a person could prevent going through the gruesome revision surgery again and how important it is for your doctor to identify the risk involve in the precedure. You can view his 'masterpieces' a.k.a. the before and after images in the photo gallery (no cut up nose images present here, so for those with a weak heart, this link is safe for viewing).

Wacko Jacko, if you're reading my blog, please visit the webpage and contact the medical center. Your nose is in need of a 'makeover'!

I dunno whether to blame the monsoon or because its approaching the end of the year, but I'm feeling the lowest point of my life right now. Well let's see...

    1. I hate it that it never rains when I'm at home but it poured like f*ck when I'm in the office
    2. My colleague made me realise that I hadn't taken a day off work since I am entitled to... 12 days! Hence I need to clear at least 5 before year end.
    3. I hadn't also taken any vacation. Can I blame it on the backpacking trip I had a year ago? But that was a year ago!!
    4. I hadn't met my friends for the LONGEST time. Its like I am so wrapped up around my work, I hadn't been the one to plan anything at all. Girls! Do something!!
    5. Lindsay is coming back and I know that'll be the only time we'll all meet up and chill out with each other. After she leaves, it goes back to normal... sad rite?
    6. My entries are mostly about my work and colleagues. It made me sound like I had nothing before I work there and I know that's not true but others may beg to differ.
    7. My achievements for 2006 is so disappointing, I've never felt so ashamed to put it out there.
    8. Vivocity is a very depressing place and its so close
    9. There's some guy in my office who's an undeserving f*cker was given a second chance in another department after he was given the boot. If I were him I'll feel depressed right now, like going back to the crime scene!
    10. Despite of all these, my bf and I doing well at the moment and that's kinda depressing cos' I know something is not right...

    Watch this...

I got a call about 10am from this lady by the name of Fiona. She's from People Search and I thought she was enquiring about sales or advertising hence she was directed to my line. Here's how the 1 minute convo went:

Fiona: Hi may I speak to someone from advertising please?
Me: Yes, you may speak to me, this is Fida speaking.
Fiona: Oh hi Fida, have you always been in advertising?
    Me: Yeah, why?
Fiona: We're actually looking for someone for the post of Advertising Account Manager and will you be interested?
Me: You called my company to look for someone to hire?
Fiona: No its not like that. Will you be interested?
    Me: NO!
Fiona: Do you know of anyone who will be interested?
    Me: Hell no! *slams phone*

    Tuesday, September 12, 20069:40:00 AM 1 commento
I am very very sad right now. I lost the first second third one of those important thing in my life. I bought it in Krabi, Thailand for a very good price. No, it is not an imitation or a fake. Its real titanium metal aite. Pretty rare to find actually. And now I have to shelf it away for as long as the other half is missing. If anyone of you were to see it lying around helplessly somewhere, do let me know. Its very much missed, not only by me but its other half. *GROWL* It pisses me that you just can't purchase that little ball that holds everything together! Come home my little ball... I missed you so much!

And the Best Drama award goes to...
    Wednesday, May 10, 200610:21:00 AM 3 commento
I've been in this company for barely 2 months and I've seen so much drama it tickles me at times. Dun get me wrong. I love this place. I love the peeps here. I love my job but nothing can be perfect.

Stella, this sweet little girl in my next office whom you can describe as the sunshine in the office (for her hair color and the fact that she never stinge with smiles and laughter) has been missing from the office for a while and we found out she has been hospitalised. I think its because of food poisoning. I know its not that damn serious but its kinda funny to not feel her presence in the office.

Clifford lost his notebook. One where he scribbled almost everything related to his business deals. In simple English, he cannot live/work without that notebook. We traced back his steps and we still cannot find that damn little black book. We searched everywhere... even the girl's toilet. Weird!

Isaac got fired a few days back. Why? Cos' he's moonlighting here. We have a policy stating that as an employee here, you are allowed to own a business or take up part time/freelance jobs outside but they must not be in anyway related to your current job. This fella has only been here for like 2months and he's like announcing to everyone he's a CEO of this printing company. Words spread and the manager approached me and another colleague for some black and white evidence. I gave her a snippet of my convo with him regarding this matter. She led him to the office for a chat and half an hour later, he's outta here.

Scary... but I'm kinda glad he's gone cos that guy's freaking me out.

Its so annoying when people learnt about your departure news and all they could say is...

"Have you got a replacement? I want to recommend (fill in name from wherever) lah..."
I wish I could reject them all! Why can't I be involved in the selection process? I know the requirements way better than anyone here!

"Where are you going... (plus many other queries that leads to hinting for more answers"
Since when have SSC staff tell anyone where they will be running to? That doesn't make me any special. I lost count how many times I lied about where I'm going and what kind of organisation am I joining. Hehe... so bad of me ;P

"Eh how's your workload there? Easy or not? Are the people nice? I thought of transferring to your side..."
Yes, my workload is close to none and the people here are so super fantastic that I have to hunt for a new job. Its like a bed of roses, sugar & spice & everything nice... go figure

I've got less than 2 weeks. Leaving this place for good and with a clear mind and conscience. I've gotta start packing boy!

    Long Awaited Entry...
    Saturday, March 04, 20068:52:00 PM 0 commento
My fingers suddenly weighed a tonne when I wanna type this entry. I don't even know how to start and I don't even know what to say actually. Some of you may have already heard the news from someone who's a someone friend ex ecolleague (whatever)... I think its time I announce it myself.

Yesterday was the day... I finally decided to tell them I had enough and ask them to let me go. I had a very long chat with the supervisor who had somehow informed the deputy director about my sudden decision. She kept pushing the letter back to me hoping I would change my mind. It kinda puzzled me why she even bothered when she herself is leaving. As sickening it is going to sound, she said that if I insisted on leaving, it wouldn't look good on the boss. She even said that she felt guilty when she tendered her resignation and she's thinking I would feel the same way.

First of all, I don't care squat about the impact I will cause in the organisation if I leave. Secondly, I really need to get out of that place cos' I have already found a job and they need me there a.s.a.p. I think the other party is kind enough to wait for me this long. Thirdly I am surprise that this news of mine came to a shock for many. Apparently I have not been giving enough hints that I am not happy in SSC.

I can't go on right now... getting a lil' emo here! This is just too surreal for me to handle...

Something weird is happening in my life. Thanks to a certain somebody, this morning I was surfing around for the nearest community library! Hmm... since when am I a reader? I hate to read! I finished 2 books a week ago and I wanna return them myself instead of handing it to a certain somebody to do it for me. My intention is not only to drop the books but to loan more... why? What's wrong with me? Am I a changed person? Hmm...

Anyway Fahmy told me his elder sister's pregnant after YEARS of trying. Her husband cried when he heard the news. I have no words to express how happy I am for the couple. Very very happy!

I have a couple of news which I CANNOT say here. I did so in my Livejournal but its only visible to friends. So sorry about that. You may wanna ask me for access if you have LJ Account.

I actually have a couple of photos to post up but I have no time to download the photos from my digicam. What have I been doing during my weekends? I spend hours infront of my PC playing Sims 2... what else is new huh? Hehe.. I am ADDICTED to that game. Help!

I would like to thank Kym for helping me buying my poison for March 24 party. Seriously its DIRT CHEAP in duty free shops! Goodness! Thank you so much... I will arrange a meet up with you cos I have to hide that sucker in my office ;P

What's happening on March 24? Hmm... watch out for this space I guess... *grinzz at somebody*

    Belly Good...
    Wednesday, October 20, 20046:35:00 AM 1 commento
I've been surfin' websites after websites doing my research on navel piercings. I know what you're thinking... "Just go and pierce, no pain no gain!" or "Yes it hurts but its like an ant biting on it for just a second!". Well, everyone has different threshold for pain. Am I a baby? Hmmm... What other painful stuff had I been through? All the jabs I had in school were bearable, I didn't cry one bit. I had some blood test when I entered workforce and I didn't cry there either. I went thru 2 wisdom teeth surgery and I didn't cry then... emmm... not really. I cried the first time, before the surgery even started! Hehehe... see! I'm a baby!

When I browse this website, I felt like after my navel piercing, I would like to go for a Monroe or Madonna. So sexy!!! What do you think? But then, my folks will freak out if they found out that I had piercings! Wait till I'm all grown up! Hey! Wait a minute! I AM an adult now!!

Making myself feel a lot better browsing the beautiful bling blings I can adorn on my brand new belly button (well, when its fully healed of coz). Can't believe I'll be spoiled for choices! But I gotta be patient cos I won't get to try them all on until like what? 9 months later?

If you have any words of advice, pls, this is the best time to tell me everything.

My first attempting to watch the Idols do their stuff and the first time I realised something had to be wrong. 75% of them were lousy! Tonight for the first time, I voted for this guy here not b'cos he's Malay like me but because he had wowwed me with Earth, Wind & Fire's September. I love that song and he did not ruined it! Singaporeans, if you feel the same way as me please vote for him - key in "8" and send to 43657 (IDOLS). Olinda was good also but if you wanna make me choose between a 'Mat' and a 'Butch', I think I'll go for the 'Mat'! Hahaha...

Something funny happened this morning. A Wushu coach called me to update her particulars. According to her she cannot speak English.
    Me: Hello good morning
Her: Ah, XXX (my supervisor) blah blah blah?
Me: She's on MC. Can I help you?
Her: My English no good lah. Blah blah blah address change blah blah.
    Me: Oh new house ah?
Her: Ah blah blah *gives her new address*
Me: Aiyah, you move 2 doors away ah? (Her door number only change!)
    Her: *giggle* blah blah blah....
    Me: Ok thank you
    Her: blah blah

Anyway just in case any of you had not known yet, on Tuesday I celebrated my 2 years anniversary with Fahmy, the love of my life. But before I go into that, I have another great news that I had finally cut my hair. Well, not so much, just about slighty more than an inch. Better than nothing right?

Before I made my way to the saloon, we passed by a tattoo parlour which provides piercing services as well. Fahmy stopped and asked me if I want to pierce my navel. He knew I had always wanted to have one but he doesn't like the idea. I thought that would make me happy but unfortunately my heart started racing like mad and my face went pale. He was shocked to see me in that state and asked me why. I told him I was scared. He giggled and we continued our journey to the saloon.

We had dinner at the most romantic restaurant, or was it a cafe, in the whole of Singapore! Lovebirds out there, check out Beach Cabana at East Coast. Its somewhere near McDonalds and beside the inline skating rink. In my opinion, its better than Fish & Co. I would very much would like to recommend the Stingray dishes served with sambal. The whole night was blissful and looking forward to many many more anniversaries...

    Reunited my ass!
    Monday, August 30, 20049:32:00 PM 0 commento
Bloody hell, I signed up for Body Pump class at 6.20 and when the class starts the trainer told me the class is full. Like HELLO! My name was on the list! Some bitches actually walked in the class without signing up! I'm pissed cos I took 1hr off work just to attend the class!

I had a school reunion on Saturday and boy am I disappointed with those who turned up. I sat in a table od people from my batch and we only know each other's faces. I was like, "Were you in the class next to mine?" or "You looked familiar..."

The food was alright and definitely not enough for the more 'kiasu' adults. Its outdoor dining and I took the opportunity to tour around the school and try to spot my favourite hangouts. I tool some photos but I'm too lazy to upload them now. I will post them some other day.

Anyway I'm happy to lose like half a kg and bad news cos I will be taking a break from my gym for about a month. I'll be sweating it out again in October. Nevertheless I will try as much as I can to go for swimming, jogging and my Pilates classes at work.

    Till then, gooooos-ba-ba!

    I'm a superwoman!

I just discovered that I can go without sleep for 32hours! I had one hell of a week, I'll tell ya. First up I'm proudly announcing to everyone that I am addicted to Sims! Any Sims freak here? Le me know... we should be friends.. *grinzz*

I went "camping" with a bunch of friends at the Changi Beach. Everything went great until a bunch of Indians came in the wee hours to perform funeral rituals. Just in case some of you ain't familiar with their tradition, they burn the corpse and threw the ashes in an open sea. The ritual lasted till sunrise and they left. I had wanted to swim in the morning but after what I had witnessed, I changed my mind. Kinda regret that decision cos' the weather turned scorching hot and I got an unneccessary tan.

I reached home around mid day just in time to get ready to attend a close relative's wedding. I never thought of going but my dad asked me to. So I met them there and spent most of the time playing with my sister. She grew up a little. She's ONE YEARS OLD and finally I see her walk. She doesn't say much and till now still don't smile a lot unless you tickle her or throw her high up in the air. She's cute... and smart... just like her sister *wink*

Its been ages since I watched tv. I missed Boot Camp so many times. Can someone pls tell me who's out and who's still hanging on to dear life? I'm gonna stop paying too much attention to my Sims. I mean its so much fun to play God and control people's life! If only its the same in reality. One person telling you what to do, solve your problems, make sure your bladder ain't full, make sure you have enough sleep, make sure you're having fun, have friends, always surrounded by love and wealth and comfortness and... I better stop here!

I had a very weird week. I felt sleepy and tired throughout from Monday all the way till Friday. Thank God I wasn't working yesterday. I kinda guess I was pretty drained out since I'm doing 2 jobs now. Translation ain't a piece of cake as what I thought it would be. I had my share of criticism. I don't care. It pays well so I just have to deal with it!

I didn't really go out that much last week. Had dinner at Pastamania with Sarinah and Fahmy caught up with us like after 10pm. I kinda love Pastamania now. Its not as sucky as the first time I went there.

Friday I followed Fahmy to one of his ex-classmate's chalet. Turns out that the whole family there. I felt the uneasiness spreading to every single one of his friends. We left pretty early *LOL* right after we had 2-3 helpings of the BBQ delicacies. I felt so bad... those guys were terrible!

I woke up too early today. Fahmi, my colleague, having a house warming "party" this afternoon. I have no idea what to wear and I am still hesitating to dug out for my old clothes!

I can't believe I actually came across this ad! Click here to see it for yourself. I am so afraid to have kids and all end up having their school projects done by someone else. Its MY MONEY for goodness sake!

Also, I really hate my office now! All the politics... oh my... worst, they're all ganging up against ME! I can't help but to keep reminding myself that I should never quit this job because I'm pissed at the people in the office! I love my job, seriously! I get all the satisfaction I need as soon as task after task got completed! There's gonna be another BITCHIN' session 2 months later.

I have some king of churning going on in my stomach this morning when I woke up. It is the worst since the churning starts yesterday morning. Went to see my GP and yes... 2 days off work! I hate diarrhea! They gave me pills that's basically made from CHARCOAL!

    Perks of staying home...
    1. I dun need to see faces of people who thinks I'm not doing anything at work... LOOK! I'm doing just that right now but better! I get to wear my boxers shorts!
    2. I get to watch TV all day... I saw MTV Cribs and today they went to my Wilmer Valderama's house. Its too manigficent for someone his age...
    3. I can sleep whenever
    4. I save money
    5. Eerr... I can't think of anymore...

    Perks of going to work...
    1. I get to see my friends! My so-called-kakis
    2. I get to do something I like, my work
    3. I get free aircon
    4. I can eat non-home-cooked food
    5. Eerr... I can't think of anymore... DAMN!

To summarise it all, I have an equal liking to both home and office, but, there's no better place than to be with the person you love...
