I feel like such a potato for the past few months. I won't call myself a couch potato cos' I hadn't had my butt planted on one for pretty long time. I'm always on my bed. My bed is my table, couch... everything. So what have I been doing in bed?

Ugly is the new Beauty
Yup you guessed it. If you hadn't watched any single episode to date, you're a butt-O-ring! How can anyone not watch it. Its a little on the feminine side, so I don't really expect all the fellas to tune in, but whats makes you think its all about girl stuff?

Anyway, caught the last episode (sob sob) and it kept me seating on the edge of the cliff waiting for season 2 to start. Darn!

I had a 2 days marathon for the series Heroes from episode 1-16 and my colleague told me the rest will only come much later. Then every 2 weeks I got me another few more episode till few weeks ago, I got my hands on episode 23 and that was the last for season 1! Someone please tell me when's season 2 gonna start airing in the US... please!

While Heroes go hiatus, I kept myself busy learning more about the show from the official site and the best bit was the wiki 100% input by fans. This is by far the most interative TV series ever in this lifetime of mine. You have got so much to browse on their official website and some fans did an RPG style blogs for the characters that's like soooo fudging hilarious! Refer to the list below to see those blogs.

Gone to church, dabbled in bulimia and now heavy into light lipo. It's more a cooking session. You heard of Tomato Reduction? We're talking Britney Reduction. Shrinking her size 6 to size 2. Since surgery requires drugs, this addictive rehab alumna is - per Star magazine's current issue - into soybean anti-fat injections. Stuffing tofu up her tutu means Vegas, six weeks, 12 sessions, $130,000. Then she's on to BevHills doc Raj Kanodia, who reshaped Jennifer Aniston's and Ashley Simpson's noses and so shies from publicity that he actually spelled his name for me. Then she's getting rid of those crappy tattoos.

Don't ask me why the New York Post is writing their articles like a shopping list because I couldn't tell you. They could replace everything they wrote with "magic" and it'd be just as interesting to me. Although this is clearly the best Britney Spears has looked in a long time.

Had a discussion with a colleague from Selangor, Malaysia about living cost difference in Singapore and Malaysia. One thing we could agree on its the cost of houses. If you've been following the real estate news you'll realise houses nowadays are gonna cost us even more than they do in the 90s and to don't expect to earn big like the yesteryears when selling your present home (unless of course you're residing on prime location).

So what happen now? Do you still wanna cramp 4 families into one home? No! The governmen wants you to reproduce but makes it hell for you to afford a house for you to start a new family in. I may be a lil dense in this topic but I heard many of my friends who bought a house is now legally indebted to the banks till the day they retire. Woah~ that's where all my parents money went to! Yup, bad news kid. One day you gotta bid goodbye to all the fun in life you've had before and think of ways to earn money via myspace to help your folks to pay for your education!

Should we start looking for aretirement home soon? LOL!

I've never been to a prom neither do I had any to start of with. Its not part of the education culture here in Singapore. I watched countless number of movies where kids look forward to that one night to hook up, make out and most importantly, to don that dream dress they've been searching for MONTHS (or much longer than that if you can believe it)!

So I was actually browsing for prom dresses 2008 collection, you know, like a nutcase that I already am, and picture myself in it on a prom night that I'd wish I would have had when I graduated almost 10yrs ago!

The best part of the site is where they show you all the gowns you should avoid like you would a meteor or if you have already own one, you gotta go burn it or something.

I'm a super colossal Ugly Betty freak and was working on charting a family tree for the Meade family when I notice a familiar face. Remember Fabia? The Cosmetic Designer?

I'm not quite sure which is the before and after but I bet either way its fixable by any New York cosmetic surgery professional. Be it a face lift, neck lift, brow lift or forehead lift its all possible! For this I think theres no lifting involved. Looked more like stretching to me!

I recently got a new mailbox key after they bashed up the old one and made a new one (apparently supposed to be junk mail free, as are most residential mailboxes are now in Singapore). So I went down and took a good look at them and I think it is the longest time I took to search for mine. Maybe the text is too small. Or maybe cos' I hadn't check my mails for ages (I only check it if I am expecting a mail).

Come to think of it, why can't we have personalised mailboxes? Even at work, I observed my admin clerk having to scan rows of those tiny commercial mailboxes to find ours. Its too darn boring. I remember those days when I got my own locker in school, I took time to personalised them so that I'll be able to tell them apart from the rest and not waste time searching for it.

If you ask me, I want all mailboxes, well at least mine, to look like this!


I dunno why but it just reminded me of that movie starring Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves... uhh... Keep It Forward! One heck of a romantic movie :P

Day 1
Reached the airport about 8-ish in the morning and was granted an early check in. The day was wasted getting over the fact we hadn't sleep for 20hours. Towards evening, we ventured out for a hearty seafood dinner, my treat of course since we're kinda celebrating a certain someone's birthday :P

Day 2
I knew this day would come... we searched for an alley worthy of our 'bahts' and we found it. I mostly shopped for Fahmy. The weather was so humid I can feel my whole t-shirt totally drenched at the back. We were prolly there for close to 3-4hours. After running out of money, we knew its time to stop, so we took a little breather @ Burger King, Jungceylon for a drink. You have no idea how good Coke felt slipping down your throat at that moment where I swore the temperature was like 32 deg celcius!

We went back to the room, freshen up and went across the road for another roun of seafood dinner and some booze over at Mai Tai Bar owned by the people of Phuket-Info. Didn't get to meet Nicke, the owner, but his wife entertained us throughout our stay. I walked back to our room tipsy that night.. *eeks*

Day 3
Since the weather looked very promising, we hit the beach. I got a good amount of sun and swimming was impossible. I couldn't even get deep enough. Rough waves keep hitting me and I kept stumbling back to the shore. Its madness I tell ya. That day was our first day trying out the tuk-tuks. Twas fun... bargained the fare like crazy of course.

Day 4
Went out for a late lunch and we also drop by a 'spa' nearby. Siti went for a manicure and I got me a 1 hr thai massage and a foot scrub. We drop by the beach again for a 'walkabout' eventhough it looked like its gonna rain. The waves were inviting us to come closer and closer. Its too beautiful to resist.

At night we walked past bangla Road, decided to skip the boozing and went back to the beach again. We're crazy like that but the sound of the crashing waves was too soothing.

Was talking to a friend today and she's planning a trip for her 1st anniversary end of June. She had Maldives in mind and I thought I would suggest to her Maui instead. If you go to Hawaii you better checked yourself in an accomodation that will make you fart roses!

So I started surfing for that perfect accomodation that will not necessarily burn a huge hole in your pocket. There are many cities within Maui itself and today I'll bring ya to Wailea. I'm back at work now. Wanted to update last night but blogger's giving me the cold treatment so I'll make it quick here.

My plane landed in the Budget Terminal about 1.30am yesterday and I've never felt so tired in my life. My backpack is just yelping for mercy. Dropped by Pasir Ris cos' I miss Fahmy too much and finally got to lay down on my own bed about 3.30am.

I will write a proper entry maybe later in the night with photos if I can upload them all smoothly. I've got like 200 photos (as I last counted) and 2 videos to be nicely photoshop-ed and edited for viewing pleasure... yours and mine.

Fahmy commented I've improved on my photography skills in a sense there isn't much of me cam-whoring and you can actually see Phuket instead. Haha!

I'm using blogger.com in Thai. No idea how to switch it back to English but what the heck, I know where everything is... blogger whore I am. Second day here and I'm already running out of baht and luggage space. It hadn't rain since the morning that I arrive and I do hope the weather will stay this way as I've yet to hit the beach! I blame the awesome cable channels in the hotel room that prevented me from getting outta bed.

Yesterday didn't manage to do much as I was feelin' kinda tired but today, although we only manage to leave the room about 3.30pm, I manage to find me some good buys. Its tiring to shop here... all the haggling and plastering a smile on my face and the heat and the.... whining? Hehe... whatever. I'm happy, but tired. Feelin' blessed with such awesome weather... i <3>

Can't wait for dinner... feelin' a lil' hungry right now... toodles~

I have an ulterior motive to head up to Phuket next week. I've been working in this new company for over a year and I've been using the same handbag every working day. Its pleading for a retirement right now. You know what they say, rust is cancer for handbags... yeah whatever!Thailand is famous for their rip off designer labels which includes for handbags as well. So now watch me rub my hands together in glee... *tee hee hee*.

Yesterday I barely recovered for a short holiday (Labour Day) and reached the office close to 9.45am. I noticed the lounge area was unusually crowded but I continued walking towards the office also wondering why a couple of my colleagues are just hanging outside the office. It can't be locked cos' a whole bunch of us holds the key.

I moved closer and the room was pitch dark. Its a BLACKOUT. My director ensured us that it'll take only half hour so I waited no longer and went for my cigarette break. Even after 3 sticks the electrical supply hadn't been fixed so we hung out at the lounge area and I sorta got dragged into an impromptu discussion about work and I didn't hide the yawns at all. I was so tired of not doing anything for a whole 4 hours.

We did went for lunch and I was telling myself if by 4pm and there's still a blackout, I'm going home. Honestly I'd rather work from home but my manager kept telling me to stay put and be unproductive together as a team. Odd but my director announced after lunch that we could all leave and come back tomorrow praying everything will be fixed. I prayed otherwise. He even offered me a lift home *LOL*.

So here I am, blogging away in the office cos' I forgot to blog last night. WHY!!!
