Dream on!
Monday, June 25, 20079:27:00 AM
This may be just a dream but I remember the most significant detail that night. The company gave away an Atom PDA phone to everyone in my department and I was the one doing the distribution. Boxes after boxes, I felt so sore that I wasn't assign any. At the bottom of the huge box, I saw Dopod box! I asked a colleague who is this one for. He said "It's yours! The boss knew you had always wanted that."
I was over the moon. I played with it like all the way home. In my journey I had even planned what to install in it like my Sims 2 etc (What!? Its my dream!). I can't even wait to get to work the next day, apparently awaiting for free stuff :P but to my horror the same colleage started packing all the PDAs back into that enormous brown box. Me: What's going on? Him: Oh, they decided to take it back. Me: 'They' who? Him: Management... I sure hope you brought yours today. With a heavy heart, I placed mine back in the Dopod box and sealed it into that big brown box. I kinda get its meaning even before I woke up, really. This is what happen when you're working for an organisation who overpromise and underdeliver. I should be a shrink or something. Labels: dream |

Scooter ka-boom!
Thursday, June 07, 200710:03:00 PM
In case you haven't heard, my dear cousin Rizal got into a
He was on the filter lane and skidded trying to avoid a pick-up lorry who cut him. He got away with scratches and open wound and I think the 2 month old Vespa's alright too. The biggest pain is to fork out the cash to fix his 'baby' back to showroom condition like it was before. Before I end... HAPPY 28th BIRTHDAY BABY!!! |

Islam promotes terrorism?
Tuesday, June 05, 20072:53:00 PM
What's with all the labelling these days? Check out stuff I quoted from myLot postings, which I shall not display the links as not to promote the argument.
Your people always tell us Islam is peace but actions speak louder than words. All we see from Islams actions is hate and murder. No one ever even once said they were sorry about what those 19 people did in the name of Islam. All we hear is "they were not true Muslims". Then we hear "Bush", "oil", "Christians", "Hitler" the "Crusades". why won't the 'good' muslims stand up and denounce the bad ones? why won't the good ones say 'ok, that enough!' and tell the extremist to leave? why won't the good ones explain why they come to this country and allow the bad ones to kill, mock, spit on or burn our flag, talk negatively of our country ... that they chose to live in???? a muslim is more likely to listen to their own, rather than someone that they hate! ya think?! but we will never know, since most muslims are too cowardly to stand up for what is right. as or the quran not saying anything about killing people.. I beg to differ, have you NOT read your own holy book? there are MANY passages that leads one to believe that allah is telling them to go to war with anyone who doesn't believe EXACTLY as they believe! Why bother? *shrugs* Labels: rant |

Geek alert!
Saturday, June 02, 200712:55:00 AM
Today's outting is VERY different than those I've had ever. I found myself in a kiddy pub, surrounded by geeky virgins (actually pretty hard to predict that one, kids nowadays) and towards the end, deafened by awful, awful 'music'. I'd say it's quite a priceless experience for once, I paid attention to gamers 'rawkin' on their consoles 'jammin' to Guitar Heroes II tunes like I would American Idol. Haha... pretty entertaining especially the end bit where a guy got his ass kicked by a female 'guitarist' doning a befitting Metallica t-shirt. Its her lucky charm maybe?
Second part of the show was a 'band competition' where their music is supposedly inspired by video games. Its pretty enlightening to listen to their perception of 'music'. Sounded very alien to my ears mostly when they kinda spelt out some kind of secret decodable messages that got the crowd cheering like they understood whatever... you know what I mean? No? Exactly!! Don't get me wrong. I have nothing against geeks/gamers/whatnots. I belief I am one myself. But if it weren't for the familiar faces in the office I see there, I would feel goddamn out of place. Its like painting your wall brown and purple. Some may not see a problem with that but the artistic bit of your brain should be able to argue that color cordination can work in certain circumstances but the naked eye of a man might feel otherwise.
